Q: How to apply the subsidy of $700?
A: Regardless of the number of teams and entries, each participating school is eligible for a maximum subsidy of $700. However, each school must nominate at least one team and submit at least one video clip.

Q: How to obtain the subsidy?
A: A maximum subsidy of $700 is paid on reimbursement basis upon presentation of original receipts.

Q: When and How will the subsidy be paid?
A: The organizer will contact the teacher-in-charge after receiving submission of entries.

Q: We decide to join. However, we have not yet decided the no. of participating teams as well as the finalized name list of participants. How to fill in the application slip?
A: We understand the situation. The application slip is to confirm your school will take part in the Contest. Both no. of participating teams and the finalized name list can be confirmed at the time of submitting video entries.

Q: Can I join the free video production workshop?
A: The free video production workshop is designated for School Group participants. Teachers may lead a group of students to join. Please mark “teacher” behind your name during registration for recognition.

Q: Can I apply online?
A: School Group participants must submit application via their schools. Online application will be counted as Open group participants.

Q: Can I join both workshop of Movie Maker and Adobe Premiere?
A: Due to the limited quota of workshop, each participant is allowed to join either workshop once.

Q: I haven’t decided which workshop I should join yet. Can I register more than one session of workshop?
A: Due to the limited quota of workshop, each participant is allowed to choose one session of workshop.

Q: Can I make amendment after registration?
A: Please call 28319183 or email to es@hkfyg.org.hk if necessary.

Q: Can I join as an individual？
A: Sure. There’s no restriction on the number of team member.

Q: Can I submit animation for the video contest?
A: Multi-media production is acceptable for the Contest.

Q: Is there any restriction on the theme of video clip?
A: Please refer to rules of contest (http://healthyvideo.m21.hk/rule.php).

Q: Is there any regulation on the format of video clip？
A: The video clips should be in wmv / mpg/ flv format, 4:3, 320 pixels or above, the maximum size of video cannot exceed 20 MB and the length of video is limited from 3 to 5 minutes.

Q: How to submit the video clips？
A: All videos must be submitted via http://healthyvideo.m21.hk, Each entry must be accompanied with a 100-word synopsis of the video clip and the participants’ information including a list of production team members (including the director, the scriptwriter, the actors and other related personnel).

The period of submission starts from 1 Jul to 15 Sep 2009.

Q: What should I do if the size of video clip exceeds 20MB？
A: The upload limit of the video size is 20MB or below. Participants should keep the raw file. The organizer may require participants to submit the version of higher resolution if necessary.
